Photos taken at the airshow at the Nevada County Airport in Calif. in summer of 2000.
Photos directly
below were taken of the California Department of Forestry's North American OV-10
Bronco. This is an ex-military plane and painted white with red &
black trim. This is a former USMC bird with the ejection seats
removed in order to carry more fuel. This particular machine has the words
"Grass Valley" painted below the pilots window. Grass Valley is the
nearest town to the airport and apparently it is assigned to the airport
along with S-2's. The Bronco is used as a spotter aircraft and does not drop
fire retardant. An extra fuel tank is installed in the fuselage for increased
lotter time.
The 14 photos directly below were
taken by Phil Juvet.
