Photos directly below were taken of a Swedish Saab J29 Tunnan, I took these photos many years ago at the Italian AF museum at Vigna di Valle (near Rome).  This place was well known during the '30 because it was the site of the High Speed Test Center, there were tested the hydroplanes of the Schneider Cup (the base is placed on the Bracciano lake, north of Rome), and there was beat the speed world record for hyiroplane with the Macchi MC72, the restored hangars are now the site of the museum.
