Walkaround #1032

A-7

These photos were taken by Cal Cochran of the Colo ANG A-7 named "Speedwell" that I've taken over an 11 year span.  You'll notice the evolution of its camo scheme.  The pix of it in the SEA scheme were taken the year before the team won the "Gunsmoke" TAC bombing competition in '81.  After that, the Tiger symbol was placed below the cockpit on both sides, and contained the legend "World Champs '81".  This aircraft is currently on display at the "Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum" in Denver, Colorado.   These markings are available from Cutting Edge in 1/32 scale (sheet #32079) so I thought a few pix of the actual plane might be helpful to someone.
