Here is Hasegawa's 1/48 scale F/A-18 built right out of the box. This was built a few years ago when this kit first came out. 

I used Modelmaster enamel paints and Superscale decals. Weathering was accomplished via a wash of artist's oils mixed in Turpenoid and some pastel chalks. In addition, I  used some black fingerprint dusting powder for the gun residue.
