Well, it's time I continue to earn my keep in the modeling department!  This kit is the 1/48 offering by Revell/Monogram, and it's a very nice (and economical) alternative to the Hasegawa kit.  

It's mostly out of the box, except for a few details.  First, I dropped the flaps, and also, I added a pair of HARM missiles from one of the Hasegawa weapons sets.  The only other modification I made was to thermoform a new visor for the pilot's helmet to represent the more up to date HGU-55 helmet worn by US pilots.  Decals were also out of the box, and they went on very well, with no silvering.  If you don't mind scribing the panel lines, and a few minor fit problems here and there, I highly recommend this kit - a very enjoyable build, if I do say so myself!
