Here is a short article on the North American P-51 D Mustang from Hasegawa.  I used it as a base to realize Ace Bud Andersson's "Old Crow", and I am happy with the results.   

The kit is from the box except the interior from True Details, and the decals were provided by Bud's son Jim and my friend John Greiner, who kindly provided me some decals as well.  

The model has been painted with SnJ and Gunze acrylics and varnished with Testor's Metallizer sealer.  The kit was a pleasure to build, the only critique about it is the wheel bays, which are not deep enough.  Otherwise, the kit is perfect to me!!!!! The machine gun barrels have been replaced with micro tubing.
