This is Rogers beautiful OOB rendition, of the Accurate Miniatures F3F-2 kit.  

Roger finished the wings and horizontal tail feathers with SNJ, and finished the fuselage in Testors Metallizer Non-buffing Aluminum to achieve a slightly different appearance, simulating the subtle variance in the prototypes aluminum/lacquered finish on the metal and fabric surfaces.  

The remainder of the painting was done with Gunze Acrylics.  Roger uses invisible thread, painted with Testors Metallizer for the aerials, and uses epoxy to make the insulators.
