This is Johnnie Johnson's spare plane (JEJ JR).  He used this plane to transport kegs of beer mounted on bomb racks back to his airfield, so his men could have some beer to enjoy during the rigors of war.

This ICM kit was completed using the Ultracast line of goodies; seat, control surfaces, prop and exhausts.  The beer kegs were from Burnaby Hobbies (hobby shop in Vancouver, Canada) model ship accessory parts box.  I added the spigots and metal bands around the kegs are thin strips of Bare Metal Foil.  The racks are from the ICM kit......bomb racks, without modifications.

The model was finished with PollyScale acrylics and decals from the spares box.  Pastel chalk was used for exhaust and gun smoke.
