Here is my Italeri Westland Wessex HU5 in 1/72 scale. This is an excellent kit of this long
serving helicopter. A licence built version of the Sikorsky S 58, the HU5 was
used by the RAF and Fleet Air Arm in considerable numbers.
The model
features a scratchbuilt cockpit, fully fitted interior, and other details
somewhat refined. The grille in the nose was replaced with very fine mesh.
The model
represents an aircraft of 771
squadron, RNAS Culdrose.
