These are four photos of my 1/48 scale Fleet Model 16B Finch. The model was mostly built from resin copies of masters made from scratch to match homemade plans. The wing struts and landing gear legs were made from brass stock, and the canopy is butyrate vacuformed over a carved wood master.

The model was finished to portray Finch 4522 as it appeared in the spring of 1941 while attached to No.7 Elementary Flying Training School, which was based at the Walkerville Airport near Windsor, Ontario. Gunze "Mr. Color" lacquer paints were used, along with decals printed by a friend on his ALPS printer.
