This is a picture of the "CORRECT" antennae placement for the GPS as well as the spine antennae arrangement.  for those of you that bought the TECNIC's 1/32 Airframe set's and didn't get any clues on where to place
these.  Well here you go. I used my own pic's for referance.

This is my Tamiya 1/32 F-14B in the marking's of VF-143 "Pukin Dog's".  After Doing the model for  VF-102 a few more pilot's approached me asking for  model's for their squadron. I decided to do this particular  plane.

This is the rear view of my lantirn pod taken from the 1/32 Tamiya F-15E kit.  The intake is way to small, so I cut it off and built a accurate on from stock, the lantirn pod's also have a shall we say "exhaust" in
the rear of the intake, I used photo etch screen . I plan on doing a complete detailed build up of this in my next article.

This is a picture of some wing detail to show a combo of wear , weather , and touch-up's.

I used  Tecknic's  F-14B cockpit set #32002 and F-14B airframe set #32010 (I think those are the numbers).

This is my uncompleted cockpit. ( more on this in the next part of this article)

On the rear of actual burner can's there is a mounting ring that rivet's/bolt's into the Carbon Fibre heat shield , it is noticeable on the real A/C and stick's out about 2 or 3 inches from under the heat shield. As
you can see here I have added the ring from Plasitruct angle heated a rolled around the can.

Correct placement of RHAWS antennas

This is a GBU-10 from a Tamiya F-15E kit, I used the famous liquid glue technique to reproduce the fire-proof coating used on real Navy GBU's and Iron bombs.  (uncomplete)  Oh yeah the "SLAM OSAMA" came from the
"Desert Storm Bomb Graffiti" 1/32 set. These are dry transfer's. It had originally said "Slam Saddam" even though he is Osama's little brother , I took out one "d" from Saddam tweeked the other "D" into an "o" there ya have it "OSAMA"  I just seemed appropriate at the time.

I didn't like the engine fairing's that  came with the airframe set.  You would have to see it to  know what I mean. I used CAM's F-14D conversion parts for the engine fairing's. The cockpit was modified to the standard's of the real plane.

The awsome decals are once again the great work of David Aungst! The tactical Paint scheme is a custom mix to match the TPS as close as possible.  This is the first set of pictures I will send completed shot's when the pilot send's them to me.

I hope you have enjoyed the 1st part of my big cat I
will send steve the second part shortly.
