Here is my most recently completed model, the Hasegawa 1/48 scale Supermarine Spitfire MKIX.

The a/c is a Spitfire MKIX c flown by F/O Garwood from the RCAF and it crashed in Normandy on the 11th of June 1944,due to and engine failure.

The kit was built out of the box, with the addition of a set of Ultracast resin exhaust pipes and PE harness form MDC.

The decals are from Aeromaster and Watermark.  The paints are Gunze with the camo being painted free hand and the invasion stripes were painted too.  The model was a pleasure and really relaxing to built.

I hope that you all like the model,

Franck Oudin
