This is the FM kit
converted to a short nosed Tiger in the scheme the Blues first used on this
airplane.

The nose was made with
styrene sheet framework filled with Apoxy Sculpt, with a refueling probe
modified from a Hasegawa A-4. A new vacuform canopy was made and
details were added to the cockpit area and decking behind it.
Markings are mostly
hand painted, with the exception of the underwing "US Navy"s and the
BU numbers and Grumman logo, which came from the kit sheet.
