Monogram's B-52D kit with MPM X-15. I wanted to model Joe Walker's altitude record flight in X-15 #3, so I converted the X-15A2 back to the shorter, original configuration.

Camera housings, fuel jettison tubes/vents, viewing blister, floodlights, tail cone fairing, fuselage windows, engine inlet ducting, and launch operator station are all scratchbuilt. 

Decals are by Cutting Edge and a few custom printed by Draw Decal.
