This is
the Hasegawa Sufa kit I was happy as can be - No more resin or
surgery to get a Sufa.
The
kit has some good points which are – good fit of parts especially the CFT
and the new dorsal fin and nice engraved pane lines and very Very important to
me a good nose shape.
The
bad points are – wrong size or shape or both on most of the new parts,
and wrong rear cockpit, nose gear door, nose wheel, also no plugs are provided to
seal the intakes above the main intake.
I
added a new cockpit, wheel bays and exhaust from Aires, also sealed the small
openings above the main intake, made a new and right door for the front landing
gear bay, and dropped the flaps, added about a third of a millimeter to the nose
wheel thickness.

The
canopy was tinted with future and eating colors of yellow and green with the
front section gating two coats.
One
of the great things about the Sufa is that every squadron has a tail art - all
designed by Ra’anan Weiss from Isradecal. The orange tail squadron was my
choice. The
decals are the excellent Isradecal set no 65.
The
kit was painted with Humbrol, Tamiya and extracolor. Promodeller wash and
Chalks
were used for weathering.
The
GBU-31and AIM-120 are from Hasegawa. The AIM-9M and litening pod are from
Kinetic,
all the rest came with the kit.
Thanks
