Hasegawa's Arado 234
series is a mixed bag. It is superior to the old HobbyCraft kit in
many respects and has one of the best OOB cockpit features at the 1/48 scale.
However, clumsy engineering make major assembly unit joints difficult to repair.
Fortunately, even in the real aircraft, some of these joints were conspicuous
and stood out in a stark contrast to the smooth and elegant contour lines of
this early jet.

I chose to build two known
representations of the nightfighter version. No aftermarket items
were added although I used scratch made parts and spares to enhance
cockpit realism.
Enjoy the photos.
