Here is my latest work.  A full restoration of an early build.  I was not satisfied with the final result so I had to restore this build.  I managed to scratchbuild some IC flare dispensers and I modified old Italeri exhaust coolers to represent this variant.

I built the kit in the colors and markings of the Macedonian AF during the 2001 war.  In those days I used to see this one fly over my building almost on daily basis.  Ten years later I managed to release a decal sheet featuring several Macedonian AF mi-24's that ware used in the war.  Our new decals can be found on the following url www.balkanmodels.si .

The painting was done using MM Revell and Tamiya enamel mixes.  The rest is OOB.  I also added rivets throughout the airframe.  Weathering was done with my airbrush and a light ink based wash.
