Hello!  This is my 1st submission to ARC, and hopefully many more will follow.  I bought this kit back in 1998. I worked on it off and on over the years throughout various moves, career changes and life events (getting out of the army, getting my degree, getting married, having kids...)  and finally finished it December 2011.  I added an Aires cockpit detail set, spare rocket pods from an Academy MiG-21, missiles from an Academy MiG-29, and Peruvian Air Force decals from Aztec models.

I painted it using Model Master Acrylics and my Badger 150 airbrush.  Weathering was a combination of pre-shading, soft pastels and a silver colored pencil.  For a glossy clear coat I used Krylon clear gloss acrylic in a spray can, and I used just plain old Testors Dullcoat to seal it after I applied the decals.

Finally, I would like to thank Malcolm Reid, who was kind enough to scan and email a copy of the instructions from his kit.  Without his help, this model would still be sitting in a box unfinished - Thanks!
