1/48 Monogram F-4Cs, Phantoms 155 and 156

Lets face it. Not every model is going to be a show winner. Some models are destined to be placed on the bottom shelf where the cats can play with them upon completion. These are two of those models.

Might be the crappy fit of the canopy to the Monogram 30 year old plastic. Might be the fact I was on serious pain meds when I built and painted these two. I don't know. Fuzzy bunny on the mambo tree can do that to you and ........Nevermind.

Anyway, 1/48 scale Monogram F-4Cs both with really old Superscale decals and Hasegawa decals for the slime lights. Hopefully Phantom 157 will be better. The Superscale decals represent short lived markings used by the Louisiana Air National Guard. As you can see the squadron markings are less then politically correct. In fact even with these paint schemes you can find photos where they painted out the less then socially acceptable markings.
