This kit was a present from my daughter last year as she knew that I wanted to build one of these sail kits.

This was an OOB build and I used MM's paint which it was mostly applied by paint brush. This build was pretty challenging as it required lots of painting to many small details. The biggest issue that I had was the excessive flash on many of the parts. The rigging took some time, but the instructions were very detailed and this made the task easy to do. During my visit to England last year, I had the opportunity to visit the Portsmouth Naval Yard where H.M.S. Victory is open to visitors, and this was quite a treat for me. I took plenty of photos that later helped me during the build.
I purchased the wooden base which I later painted.
It took me three months to complete this project, and I am very pleased with the final product.
I hope that you enjoy the photos.
