It's good to get back to building small projects. Between sailing and doing the big SkyPilots Sea Kings (which BTW are OOP) it seems like my to-do list keeps growing. Well, I just checked one off the list. Here's my 1/72 Hasegawa T-33 done up with Leading Edge decals to represent a 434 Sqn bird. Having been in Greenwood NS for 11 years the sight of the nimble jet is something I miss. I still say the disposal of the fleet was ill advised, as they left a combat support gap that will never be filled.

OK back to the model. I picked it up for $10, used Tamiya paint and pretty much built it out of the box. The decals are not in production at this time, but LE has a sheet for the low-vis two-tone version available on the site that I have to pick up. The thing with LE is you can't beat them for detail.

The sheet was a reissue with the addition of the 50 years of T-Birds crest for the tail. Nice touch, which naturally I took advantage of. I mixed the paints to get the right tone so the markings wouldn't disappear, and used Johnson's Floor Shine to seal it.
