I have been
away from the hobby for around 15 years and have only recently taken it up
again. The aircraft is a rather old Hasegawa F14A, which I decided to build into
an Iranian version from when the three tone camouflage scheme was used. The
build, which was oob, went quite well, although a bit of sanding was required
where the top and bottom halves of the fuselage met. As can be seen from the
photos...panel lines are all raised.

I sprayed the
aircraft using enamels, with demarcation lines between camouflage colours being
done with a technic I read about recently using white tack rolled into
‘snakes’ and masking in between.
For weathering I
used oils, with my preference being burnt umber, which gives that brownish
finish, which I felt is more adept to a desert colour scheme.
I enjoyed the build
and hope you like the end result.
Thanks
for looking, and hope to be back soon with more models.
