The Airfix Matador refueller has been around for a while, not sure when it first saw the light of day, perhaps the 1970s? Despite that it does have a refined cab and radiator. The tank itself is fine too. But the tyres need to made more distinct and the mud guards sanded down to more like a scale thickness. I added a brass steering wheel from Hauler and mirrors and bridge weight disc from Dan Taylor. Things used to weather your model. You can also include history about the full sized plane if you want.

The Lancaster BII has been given the markings of 115 Squadron. The BII was faster than the more familiar Merlin-engined BI/III but consumed more fuel so had shorter range. A 115 Squadron BII was the first bomber to safely return from the Peenemunde rocket base raid of 18th August 1943.

The big AEC Matador refueller were the main refuelling tanker from 1942 onwards for the bomber bases.
