This is a 1/144 scale Revell kit of a older B747 which has been scratched & kit-bashed into a -300.  There are no existing plastic kit of any B747-300 yet so far in 1/144 scale.  Only Hasegawa had issued the B747-300 in 1/200 scale.

I used my leftover spares of a Revell B747-400 to build the -300 version.  The landing gears are scratched & rebuilt with addition details added to look like the real aircraft.  The decals used are from Avigraphics and detail set are from AHS.

Tamiya color paints are airbrushed and the finished model was sealed with clear coat.  The iconic Boeing 747 is famously known as 'Queen of the Skies or 'Jumbo Jet'...Its a pity as most of them are retired or sent to the scrap yard.

There are only a few -400 series flying now and are mostly cargo carriers.

Revell has issued a more accurate model of the latest Boeing 747 model- 800 series.

I will build the kit some day!

Cheers & enjoy the photos!
