India Republic Day

As I returned from Palam Museum while I was in Delhi, I was on look out to get TS-11 my first choice was to go for Korpo Ts-11 however will little luck was able to get the new tooled TS-11 from Arma Hobby and I have to say I am super impressed. There are three versions of it, mine was the junior set little expensive however was really excited to get hands on it.

Building was fairly simple however painting wasn't, I was worried it might end up looking chrome or dull, So I first applied Tamiya silver after it dried applied a coat of future, when the future was cured I applied Alclad-II silver once it was cured. The Yellow part and I use mix of Humbrol and Tamiya. I think I applied about 4-5 thinned layers of it.

For the decals it was the good old bright spark Indian roundel, and for black band over yellow, decal borrowed from another aircraft decals sheet.

The number 57 on nose is the actual aircraft I saw at Palam.

Happy Republic Day
