The airplane by itself became one of my favorites in the early 90's. It also became one of the reasons why I started model building those years, because one of my brothers had one built at the time. Ironically, I had not built one until now! I started simple: Italeri's 1/72 kit. At first, looked very basic in terms of detail compared with "modern" kits.
Indeed, a couple of areas in the fuselage required filling & sanding - engine covers. I did enhance the pilot's seat scratch building some basic elements - bits of plastic, & masking tape. Amazingly, after painting, the control panel came out to be pretty nice!

The kit includes two basic versions. The one shown in the cover came to be my selection. It reminded me of some pictures back then when the airplane made its appearance in the Farnborough Air Show.
