Colors are GSI creos C-316
White, C-315 Gray on Revell flat black painting undersurfaces and flat black preshaded
uppersurfaces. Wash is Mig Neutral Wash and Engine Grime at landing gears and bays.
First layer of transparent coat is Tamiya Gloss Spray, finishing layer is Humbrol Satin Cote.
Decals are old Superscale 48-721 with 3 "security" layers of Humbrol Satin
Cote. But, in fact, still bad work with still self-breaking decals.
For "NE" code lettering I created painting masks from Tamiya tape. On web I found VA-155 A-4Fs with green lettering of tail code from this period of combat employment.
Green for letters and rudder segments are cca 85% Revell 364 green and 15% Revell Semi White 301.
Weathering I done with Pacific Dust Pigment and Pigment Fixer from Ammo Mig on-and-around the walkways. And with airbrush with very thinning Neutral wash mainly in after-canopy Skyhawk body.
Airbrush I used is Harder & Steinbeck Hansa 381 Black, 0,3mm nozzle.
That´s my Skyhawk.
I finished them in November 2016. Thanks for watching.
