Built for someone else. This kit is far from a shake and bake. No connector points, very poor fit and VERY warped fuselage. It was either a choice of good fit, top or bottom. Not both. Great deal of putty therefore used on the bottom.

Decals were past their prime as well. The underwing star and bar had to be replaced my the stash. Everything else got a couple coats of decal save before application. The nose is bizarre. I guess there were many different types of nose for this kit ( I know nothing about B-24s) But the fit and seam lines are horrible. Much putty and re-scribing are needed.

Had to use around 10 or 12 pennies in the nose. This sucker as can be guessed is one heck of a tail sitter..Once finished it IS an interesting looking aircraft.
