The Harrier is a fascinating piece of engineering. Its nose up stance is reminiscent of a hunter poised to pounce on its prey. Truly a marvel of design and function.

This AV-8B II Plus is from a 1/48 Hasegawa kit . This is a OOB build. The only additions are the additional armament from my other unused kits. Few things that I noticed are the missing doors for the nose gear and the nose landing gear itself is too tall compared to the real one.

Have used a 3 tone gray colour scheme as used by the US Marines squadrons. They were all painted with local Fevicryl and Camel acrylic colours. The fit and finish was ok and the only major challenge was joining the wing section to the fuselage. Had to do some sanding and filling to even out the gaps.
