1/48 Tamiya Beaufighter MK X |

This is my Beaufighter MK X NV479 flown by Maj R A Grater. He was a Flight Commander of 19 SAAF Sqn that operated in the Mediterranean theatre. It was airbrushed with Testors Modelmasters RAF Dark Slate Grey/Dark Sea Grey topside and Azure Blue underside. To get the darkened panel line effect, I lightened the colours and sprayed it in the centre of certain areas. I used the rockets from my spares bin and did the few alterations to change the Tamiya 1/48 scale kit into a MK X. I hope everyone likes it. Stefaan
