1/72 MH-60G, Hasegawa kit with some extra detailing

The MH-60G is the special operations variant of the H-60 Blackhawk family.

It is the standard Hasegawa kit of the UH-60 and Hasegawa added the radar needed to build this special version as a metal part.

The fuselage is build oob, unfortunately the ir-surpressed exhaust is missing in this kit, but it wasn`t installed on the earlier models.

The detailing of the cabin is very basic and I added a cabin roof, some seat detailing and a internal fuel tank as found in this type. I also added the ammo boxes to the M-60 Machine guns. For the detailing I used a mix of sheet, wire and tape.

The MH-60 is in 1/72 a nice little helicopter and I think this is  a nice replic of an important variant of the H-60 family.

I used Gunze colours and my airbrush and oil paints for the weathering, as usual. For fixing the colour before weathering and to fix the decals I used some layers of future (actually I used the German version: Aerdal Glaenzer) and a last layer of Gunze flat clear.

I hope you like it
