This is an F-15C Eagle from Hasegawa, detailed with the Verlinden cockpit set and the photoetched nozzles from the same manufacturer. I added some more details in the cockpit, in the avionics bays and in the  landing gear (wirings). Dealing with the superdetailing kits was a bit difficult. The hatches are not easy to be shaped correctly, and fitting the parts in the canopy needed a lot of attention..I had to scratchbuild with plastic some photoetched components and substitute them, because they were not
matching...but maybe it was me doing something in the wrong way! The "Sparrows" were taken from the Aircraft Weapons set from Hasegawa, since they are better then the ones in the kit. Also the nozzles from the Tail pipe detail set needed patience and some care.

The model was airbrushed with Humbrol enamels, then the Decals were applied following the Superscale sequence of products. I also added a stencils' sheet from Superscale. The model was finally weathered with raw umber very diluted. One last remark: the green used in the avionics bay was obtained mixing green and black Humbrol colors, since the reference color isn't right, according to me. Anyway, I really enjoyed the whole construction!
