The
F/A-18 Hornet has several under wing hardpoints for weapons, and it’s a great
attack aircraft with air to surface missiles and bombs and superb air to air
fighting capability. The Hornet
exists in four versions:
My
model aircraft is a CF-18A Hornet of the CANADIAN ARMED FORCES. The model is very beautiful!!!! The
perfection of the mold is extraordinary. Just finished the cockpit, I have joined the fuselage, and I
have seen that the filler was almost superfluous!!!!! The landing gear legs are cast in metal, and with well defined detail. The painting is very simple: The upper part of the fuselage is in grayish blue (FS 35237), and the lower part is in light grey (FS 36375). When I finished the painting. I have applied the gloss clear paint, useful when applying the decals. Finished the proceeding, I have washed everything with the temper black.
Subsequently I have finished everything with gloss clear paint. The final covering was done with the opaque paint on certain spots to give my jet a patchy weathered look. All this was finished off with a dull coat of clear paint. Busolini
