IPMS/Hudson Valley Historical Miniatures Guild hosted HVHMG2003 at the Elks Lodge in Poughkeepsie, NY on October 25.  The show was very well represented by over 180 models in various categories.  While the show might be considered small in comparison, its size was more than compensated for by the very high quality of the entries.  The model above won 'Best Aircraft', and all of the aircraft models displayed were of outstanding quality - I actually felt kind of sorry for the judges, as they definitely had their work cut out for them!

I was fortunate enough to take home a Silver medal for my 1/48 Hasegawa F-14, 'VF-84, Last Cruise'.  My model was beat out for the Gold by the Ta-183, and rightly so - it was absolutely flawless, and a tribute to the gentleman who built it.
