This is my Accurate
Minatures 1:48 TBF-1C Avenger with Dangerboy wingfolds and Verlinden
Update set. The resin wing was routed out with a motor tool to show the gun bay and ammunition box.

The model was
painted using Testors Modelmaster Enamels. The finished model was mounted
on a wooden base with Verlinden's WW2 US carrier deck.
The astute observer may notice
some cracks in the national insignia as the decals were extremely thin and
reacted quite violently with decal setting solutions.
