This Me-163 S was
flown by testpilot Mark L. Gallaj in the Soviet Union after 2.WW. The plane was
tested only as glider without fuel. M. Gallaj crashed on landing with this
plane. He survived and the plane was destroyed.

The model was made
from Academy kit. I used the photoetched set "Zoom" by Eduard
(belts and instrument boards). Other details are handmade. The front part
of the canopy is handmade too. I made the rivets on the fuselage. I used Agama's
acrylic colours (Dark Green and Light Bluegrey) and lacquers. The decals are
from a kit by Pavla Models.
