Here is the latest addition to my Tomcat family, only 26 more to build. I know Steve Filak praises this kit, but I found it to be just as big a headache as the Hasegawa kit. I do think the parts break down is better than the Monogram kit although they are very similar. I used the Eduard detail set and Super Scale Decals. I didn’t like the shape of the kit chin pod, so I replaced it with an extra one from a Hasegawa kit.

She is armed with 2 Hasegawa AIM-9D Sidewinders and 2 AIM-7 Sparrows.

She was finished in gull gray/white camo using Model Master paint. I weathered it with an enamel wash.
