I`ve chosen this model after seen one Verlinden book with a similar diorama. The kit is the famous Monogram 1/48 kit, and I used the Verlinden update kit to improve cockpit and interior.

As we know, every B17 could be landed, with some risk, after one encounter against German aircraft.

To add realism, I´ve destroyed the kit in order to show a real B17 crashed.  I like to say thanks to my dear friends of Aeronet, the best plastic model form I´ve ever seen.
