Here is my most favorite model that I have built. The truly excellent 1/32 scale Academy Hornet. Mostly out of the box except for the ejection seat and Eduard placards.  The placards are nice but I don't think worth the heavy expense.

The decals are Leading Edge standard Canadian hornet markings, done up as a modernized CF-188 of 441 squadron.

All the parts to make a modernized Canadian hornet came with the kit, no after market needed.

I notice the HUD has moved since I built the plane(oh-well) it still looks pretty good to me.

The kit decals leave a lot to be desired for adhering to the model. Nothing I tried worked, so all the weapons markings are hand painted. The missile covers are masking tape painted yellow.

The picture of the 3 Aircraft is a nice shot Emil took of the Academy hornet with a Hasegawa 1/48 CF-188A in 416 marks and a Hasegawa 1/72 CF-188B in 410 markings.  This is one model worth saving up for. By far my favorite build thus far.
