Yes, my F-18 is a 1/32 Academy, which I made straight out of the box . 

I didn't use a resin cockpit set.  I live in Vietnam and in Vietnam, resin detail sets are very rare and extremely expensive, so I used the kit cockpit. Resin detail sets are almost unaffordable to most Vietnamese modelers.  In my opinion, the original cockpit of Academy is acceptable.  

I was first very eager to build the F-18 kit when I bought it earlier this year.  I started assembling it immediately after getting it from the hobby shop.  I actually finished the cockpit and part of the fuselage. But then I felt exhausted because of the many parts in the Academy kit.  I had to stop for . . . three months before resuming the project and finishing it more than one month later.
