LEGO enthusiasts
have been using mini-figures for years. We have only recently seen limited use
of these figures in our hobby, and even then mainly for use with civilian
vehicle models. The casting is a multi-piece, with the pilot's helmet being really clever stuff - it is interchangeable with any of the multitude or LEGO mini-figures available. The arms and legs can be carefully positioned to suit their setting due to the flexible nature of the figure - but don't move it about too much after painting! Even the hand will accept a wide variety of LEGO mini-tools and accessories.
Despite the fact that this is a
multi-piece accessory, the instructions are very nice. There are tips on how to
pose the figure. This pilot will look great in a bang seat, resting on a
wing walkway, sitting in Starbucks or in a similar setting. It will really
help fill up those empty LEGO cockpits.
