This model of the Italian combat helicopter A-129 Mangusta, corresponds to a Italeri model, its construction was very simple and anything elaborated, since each one of the its parts fit very well among them.  In spite of corresponding to a small scale, it allowed to add enough details that make it be a faithful reproduction to their original.

The avionics of the Mongoose includes an active and passive self-protection systems, its 70% composite-built airframe is resistant to 12.7 mm ammunitions and meets modern crashworthiness standards.  This tandem helicopter fitted with a low-glint canopy with a small frontal area in order to maximize visual for the crew and minimize radar detection.
