The S-58 came to the
IAF from two sources:
The two types had different colour schemes. Some of them had different landing gear and exhausts.
The American helicopters ware
painted in the standard blue RAL 5008 & brown FS 30215 over light grey RAL
7044, while the German helicopters came in original German drab RAL 6014 and was
spotted - covering the German stencils with brown paint FS 30215 They served
only with the "first Helicopters Squadron".
