Background

In 1950, the Indonesian Air Force sent 60 kadets to California, USA, to start their training as aviators at Trans Ocean Airlines Oakland Airport (TALOA).

They used the Stearman Kaydet for their training.  A few years ago, a Kaydet was donated to the Indonesian Air Force Museum in Yogyakarta.

The Kit

This is the old Revell 1/72 Boeing Kaydet which I got from ebay.  It was built OOB, with the exception of decals, which is basically only comprise the letters (TALOA), to depict the one in the Indonesian Air Force Museum
