  Victory Day in Turkey 2005

I finished this model in a bit of a hurry for a group project which took place in our modelling show in June 2005 in Istanbul. About 658 models were in the show. Since I was not very good at aircraft modelling I took the PM (Turkish manufacturer) P13a kit as I thought it would be an easy build. Anyway, the model needed a lot of putty, sanding and rescribing the panel lines. Since it was a "what if" kit, I painted it with a total fantasy camouflage pattern. I used to see those beautiful doras of Ufuk Aydiner with white stripes on red background on their lower surfaces. So I made the same thing. All paints, Tamiya Acrylics, weathered with Winsor-Newton oils. Decals are Verlinden dry-transfers (for AFV). Happy modelling.
