This is the Hasegawa 1/48 scale kit.  Construction posed no real problems, other than some minor seam work and rescribing.  The intakes are tricky, but fit nicely with some careful planning and gluing.  The kit provides positionable flaps, and an option to cut and fold the wings.

In the cockpit, I scratchbuilt some sidewall detail, used resin seats from Black Box, and added photoetch MFD's.

I used the kit provided drop tanks, AIM-9X's, and AMRAAM's, decorated with TwoBob's missile markings. The JDAM's came from a Hasegawa weapon set.

The model was painted with Model Master enamels, and an oil wash was applied to bring out the panel lines.  Touch up spots of varying shades were added to simulate maintenance.  Kit decals were used and went with no trouble.
