This is
my Monogram 1/48 MiG-15. The kit
was built straight out of the box.

I used
Model Master Aluminum non-buffing metalizer for the natural metal finish which
was airbrushed on using my Badger 200 Airbrush.
The red is Testors Flat Red Spray-paint.
I
finished this model a number of years ago and just recently took it out of my
display case to do some minor detail work on it.
This consisted of drilling out the gun barrels and drybrushing them with
Testors Steel mixed with Testors Silver and painting on the landing lights using
a very simple yet effective method from ARC.

Overall,
the kit was a very straightforward build that didn’t take long to complete.
This kit came in a 2-in-1 boxing with an F-86 Sabrejet, with the price
being very reasonable. Decals are from the kit.
The
model depicts a MiG-15 of the Korean People's Army Air Force during the Korean
War 1950 – 1953.
Happy
Modeling!
Rick
