1/72 Italeri A-7E Corsair II |

Hi Again all. Hope you enjoy this one, its a Corsair A7E by Italeri in 1/72 scale. It was built completely OOB. Build was fairly straightforward, with quite a bit of filling and sanding required, especially where the body meets the underside of the wings. Cockpit detail is very sparse and I used the supplied decals for the instrument panels, I think in hindsight It would be better with some finer detail here since the kit was intended as an open canopy job, panel lines were fine, but not very deep in places.
I used Humbrol acrylic for the upper fuselage and Tamiya acrylic for everything else, topped off with a couple of coats of Humbrol satin coat. I have always liked this plane and it serves as a cracking addition to my fast growing collection. Thanks for looking. Alex
