I purchased this model last year after it was re-issued with new decals and molded in grey plastic. I worked on it here and there until I finished it a few months ago. Revell/Monogram's 1/48 A-10 is the best model of this awesome aircraft in this scale. I was glad to see RM re-issue it in grey plastic instead of dark green with a better choice of decals. I'd love to see them release a re-tooled version with engraved panel lines in the future! It's built completely out of the box except for a few bumps I added on the spine behind the cockpit and on the outside of the vertical stabilizers. A lot has been said about the A-10, so I won't  "plow old ground" with it's history. Needless to say, I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of it's 30mm gun!

I painted it with Model Master enamels and weathered it using chalk pastels and a fine brush.

I built most of it during a camping trip without the usual tools and comforts from home. It's not my best, but it's the only completed A-10 of many I have still in the boxes. I hope you enjoy it!
