Fred Mac Murray's last ride from the movie "Dive Bomber". Women went to this movie to see Errol Flynn, but the real stars were all the "Golden Wings" fighters and bombers.
The silver finish is SNJ buffing powder mixed with Future and a little rubbing alcohol. This provides are very durable and realistic aluminum dope finish. The stripes, etc. are all masked. The top wing is Floquil Reefer yellow with a drop or two of red added.
The decals are from the Yellow Wings decals "Dive Bomber" set. The rigging is the PE provided in the kit. If you are afraid of biplanes because of the rigging try one of these kits. See more "Golden Wings" aircraft on our club website at: www.percongrp.com/pelikan.htm Michael
